We are now currently taking preorders for my art book as well as the 2009 figurines.

The figurines are 16.00 each plus 5.00 S&H (we can combine shipping if buying more then one) you can buy an entire set of 6 for 80.00 plus S&H (you get one figurine free that way) These figurines will be signed AND be the first to ship out. We have a limited number coming so please reserve yours early. If you would like to pre order a figurine please email ashevans@phoenixxfirestudios.com and put pre order in the subject heading. We are also going to need the figurine/s you want as well as your name and mailing address. We will email you as soon as the figurines are in. They are due in end of April. If for some reason we sell out of a particular figurine during preorders it will be on a FIRST come first served basis.

Also we are taking pre orders for “The art of Whimsy” my very first art book! It is due to be released May 1st. Preordering reserves you a signed copy with a little sketch in it from me. They will be 25.00 plus 5 S&H OR you can order the deluxe edition for 50.00 and get a fine velvet art print of the cover art (Pylon) that is signed and hand embellished by me along with the signed book and sketch. to reserve your copy send me an email with your information with pre order in the subject line. I am only offering a limited number of deluxe editions, lets say 50.

I have been really tired lately, I think my lack of sleep is catching up with me. I am currently working on my summer dragon and hope to get the painting started today. I want it done by saturday then I only have one more.

We are planning on more later. I just thought I would share since they are so darn cool! Today I am working on my winter dragon in the four seasons dragon series. I want it done for photos by Sunday at the latest. I am still plugging away on My Furry Valentine as well but I want to get out a painting a week no matter what and My furry takes a lot of work and I am not feeling so digital lately. I booked my hotel for Imagicon and I will be doing business cards and all that good stuff this weekend. Lots to do and it is only 34 days away!!!

Here is my newest painting. It is titled Enchanted Moon. I have had her around for aged and I finally got around to finishing her up and getting it photographed. It is an acrylic on oval canvas.

Also I have my 2009 figurine preview!!! These are some of the new statuary pieces that will be available for sale some time next year.



We are really pleased with how they turned out. We have a lot more items coming out in the new year. I am also working on a new project now. I have decided I am going to hang onto it for a while once it is done. Maybe show it in the new year. I am not sure.

I am going through each and every box and carton of figurines....aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! I have managed to find a carton of each and got them signed so I can fill my whole sale orders. I put them up on the site as well because I think that number can tide me over until the rest are looked over. They for the most part are VERY well done so I am very pleased over all.

I will be sorting through cartons all week and weekend long so I may not have much else to say. Before they came I was partially through a painting which I want to post. My unicorns keep selling out LOL.

I got roughly 4 hours of sleep last night and I was woken up by the trucking company telling me the figurines would be here in an hour!!! Johnnie rushed home from work to help out. We just got finished hauling 80 cartons of stuff into the house. Lord!!! 80 cartons at 8lb a piece was 640lb!! I still have to go through them all and note the damages if any.

I have been doing some painting, nothing I really feel like sharing at the moment. I have a feeling one of these days you are going to read this post and it will have a mass art dump. I have been also dealing with a lot of behind the scenes stuff that just requires a lot of my time. I also need to go through some clothes,books,stuff.. and just get rid of it.

Anyway I am officially opening up my preorders for my resin fantasy figurines! They are set to ship out soon and will arrive in late May/early June. Quantities are limited. The figurines will be 16.00 each plus 8.00 shipping and handling. If ordering more then one please just add 2.00 per additional figurine. If you buy 2 or more I am adding a free print to the order, your choice. I will also sign each pre ordered figurine.

I have been doing some redundant things like packing and printing these past few days, still a little more to go but then I am READY for shows!! I have two new paintings in the works coming out soon and tons planned. I am going to start working out again tomorrow and get into a normal routine hopefully.

I am still trudging along with the baby dragons. One is almost completely painted and then I have to sculpt and paint one more. I had one non payer so I am not sure what is up with them so I could be free!!!! very soon. I have a half painted chocolate bunny to finish and one to sculpt. Will I make it?? I don't know for sure. My hours are crazy cause of the sleep thing. I am getting sleep just from like 4:30-12pm :( My brain turns to jelly around midnight so I stop working then which is a bummer. What is the good of insomnia if I can't be a painting machine!!

Speaking of painting machines, The Morbidly Adorable Miss Misty Benson gossamerfaery has painted my lovely bunnies in her latest paintings! They are SO cute and wonderful you should check them out. They are up for grabs on EBAY here: Bunny Love Now go look darn you!!!

I have been working with my company in China on new figurine prototypes. I should have pictures of the clay mock ups by the 25th!! I am really excited. These are all pieces I have wanted in figurine form for a long time so I am happy they are getting done. I will post pictures as soon as I have some. Also next month I will be taking pre orders for the new figurines coming in. These include the fairy foxes and a lot of the Purrsnicketys. Just a heads up so start saving those pennies. I do have plenty of my 5 current figurines in stock now :) They would love to leave my art closet and come home with you ;)

And now to paint the baby dragon who needs like a million coats of paint for me to like it.
