Shhhhhhh! I have approved a design for my *NEW* hanging ornaments coming out early next year. I will have 4 of them! We are taking these to INATS with us this year. IF we get a good response we will do all four of the four seasons unicorns. We are toying with the mythical chakra series as ornaments as well. The for we are prototyping now are top sellers.

I am proud to announce the release of my new Enchanted Baths collection with Mytsic Memories! My Mythical Chakra series was made exclusively for the labels of these amazing salts. They actually color the water (not you) and have beautiful shimmering sparkles in them. We have one for each Chakra, bagged in these adorable little colored bags. The label is fairly large so you get a nice piece of art on the packaging as well!

We are planning on more later. I just thought I would share since they are so darn cool! Today I am working on my winter dragon in the four seasons dragon series. I want it done for photos by Sunday at the latest. I am still plugging away on My Furry Valentine as well but I want to get out a painting a week no matter what and My furry takes a lot of work and I am not feeling so digital lately. I booked my hotel for Imagicon and I will be doing business cards and all that good stuff this weekend. Lots to do and it is only 34 days away!!!

I just saw prototypes of the product I did my Chakra labels for and OH man is it so cool!!! I am so excited and proud of this product and project I can't wait until it launches. It will be very soon and as soon as I have a date I will be sure to pass that along to you!!!

Yesterday was nice, I had the windows open and I started to de clutter some stuff. I want to do a lot of spring cleaning this year and really weed out a lot of the stuff we don't need. We are getting a new sofa and chair soon too!

I have been kinda meh about painting after my project. I don't know if it is I am burned out or depressed it is over. I gotta do my Munnys soon and my studio is in serious need of straightening.

I have been doing prints for Imagicon, I just got the bid sheets and all that jazz today so I will be filling them out and deciding what goes and what stays. Johnnie will be doing some special mats for the Mythical Chakra originals that will be going with us. I think they will be awesome.

Speaking of spring cleaning, I will be doing a lot of the same to my website. I want to revamp it and the info page by page. Today I did all the licensing information and updated it with my new stuff. I hate webby work but I got to do it. As we are going through old prints and things we are also deciding what we are retiring once it is out of stock. I think a good chunk of work we are going to be saying goodbye to, as I grow as an artist I really don't want to keep old things on there. I want everyone to have my best stuff only. Right now we are having a 50% off print clearance to get rid of old stock and make way for our new print types. Order today and it will ship tomorrow. I always ship on Fridays.

2010 figurines have been selected. We are doing something a bit different :) I am excited about it. We also placed our order for figurines which will ship in April and arrive in May just in time for our shows. We will be taking book and figurine pre orders next month.

With our figurine inventory completed we are going through the motions for ordering the second shipment. At the same time we are selecting prototypes for 2010. We never make these choices lightly and sometimes it is hard to set aside what we would want to see for what fans and stores would want to see. It seems like my business, much like the ezine is forcing me to be objective yet again. Which is a good thing.

We have new stuff coming: New prints and print sizes, new greeting cards,New fabric blocks, new scrapbook pages, new perfume,new post cards, new jewelry, a new mug, new candles, a new book and new statuary. Lots going on behind the scenes. I signed off on a show banner yesterday so that will be going to print very soon. I didn't sketch out a new painting yesterday I needed a break and I was swamped with emails. We have to work on an entirely new set up for our booth as we are running out of room. After this year some things may be discontinued at shows.

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a lot of fun hanging out with friends but I also busted my butt and finished painting 5 of 7 for my project. I plan on sketching out and starting painting 6 today and hopefully have it finished by Wed and the last one completed by Sunday. Prints and things will be available as soon as I am able to tell you what I have been working on.

I am going to be working hard contributing to that publication and it will be nice to be working with Steven with those efforts. As both of us know many of you very well we are going to do our best to be as objective as possible for submissions to this publication. This work is entirely separate from my professional art career as well as the personal relationships I have with all of you. I plan on compartmentalizing as best as I can. Try not to take any oversights or rejections personally. Our first issue is going to be really exciting and I can't wait for you all to see it.

Some of my artwork will be used in the launch of a new website. Details will follow as it becomes available. After my next project I will be working on a logo for the Darkhorse racing team.

On the product front I have new perfume things coming out as well as several other products I have licensed including Palm wax candles. I have been working on making some BIG prints for the site as well. They are LOVELY and my new printer is amazing. As they become available I will let you all know.

This week is going to be a busy one, we have started getting ready for Imagicon which is in the end of March, I am working on the Ezine in the background, finishing up two paintings and doing concept sketches for my Vinyl toy submissions for New York also in March. I am sorry if during this month and next if I don't comment as much as I usually do. I read every one and read every journal that I watch but sadly will be very time constricted. Well I need to try and get some sleep so I can get a ton of work done today.

I have been busting my tail trying to get some paperwork filled out and ready to mail. I am having a banner made for shows so people can find me easily. I know some people come to fairy fest to see me and then have to wander to all the tents trying to find me. Not any more. This year you can look for the big purple phoenix banner. So that is taking some time to deal with. I have a show who refuses to look at websites so I have to print out pictures which is a pain in the butt. Embrace technology people! I also have in the works a portfolio site shows and licensing people can go to so they don't have to wade through my site to see what they want to see. That will be in a bit though, I still haven't fully updated my business site though postcards are up and ready to roll now. I have a lot of bath products to put up and several other items.

We unearthed a few figurine stragglers so I have a few more to sign this evening and Johnnie is going to be counting and taking care of that. He will also be doing some Igoogle themes and updating my book. I have 13 more paintings to do before we can call it a day with that. They will ALL be new so that is pretty cool. After my blogcrastination I will be sketching out painting 4 of seven and hopefully doing the entire background this evening. It is a unicorn so it shouldn't take terribly long.

Also since right now I can't get soy candles in as my candle fairy is moving I have licensed with Coriale Enterprises for some designs on Palm Wax candles: http://ping.fm/cg7Ss I should have them on my site at some point as well.

I just sent in some more designs for scrap booking and fabric blocks. I will let you know when they are ready for purchase as well.

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to say we have some NEW mini prints available on ETSY AND my website! I don't have all of the prints in mini yet but I do have a fair few including a 4 seasons unicorn pack of all of them in mini. The mini prints are 4x6 and printed on luster paper. They are really really nice and a bargain at 4.00. These fit in standard photo frames and albums for those who have limited wall space. I will be posting more minis but I ran out of bags and backing board!

My new printer is here and that means that there will be some neat new print sizes coming. We will have a larger Matted archival size which will be limited editions of 50. no more no less. We will also have a larger regular print size coming for certain prints.

Johnnie and I have about a dozen crates left to go through and the figurine inventory will be complete. That means after the fact we will be placing our new figurine order. There will be 9 new designs instead of 6 which is pretty cool.

I still have 3 Jay the vultures, 8 Dantes and 4 Fluffys left. Once they are gone I won't be selling them again. These are signed and right now 50% off. This is your last chance to get these and they are only 8.00

I have a new mug design coming as well as a LOT of new products. I have some new post cards in that I will be adding to the site as soon as time permits. Today I need to finish a rebate for my printer and apply to two shows and get them in the mail ASAP. I am almost finished applying to shows. I am still waiting on a few to have the apps made available but I have had to shell out a LOT in fees already. Yikes!

The second painting in my series will be wrapped up and ready by the weekend which will be cool. I have to sketch out another one so I can keep it moving. Looks like these are going to take 7 weeks after all.

Well my little dog is barking his head off which means I have a delivery. He has a 6th sense about it the truck isn't even on the street yet. Check out the new mini's!!

I got up early this morning because i had an interview for a podcast only to have it rescheduled for this evening. The bright side is I was up earlier and I can accomplish more. I am printing out show apps, catching up on emails and painting. I am blogging now as I have a wash waiting to dry. I am doing another mixed media piece for the project I can't talk about. First one in a series of 7. I want to do a Valentines piece also as I am doing a show on Valentines Day a month from today. I can't believe how fast time flies. We will see if I am able to make one or not.

I am now selling Mugs on my website! I have Strawberry Wyrm, Chessie, Flitters and Sly. They are really nice!

I need to find the time to put Artemis up for sale also. I have a fan page to put together and a billion other things, I feel stretched pretty thin these days. At night Johnnie and I are inspecting ALL of our figurine inventory and I am signing them to have a total so we can place our new order for figurines. I will be prototyping some more for next year and may venture into hanging ornaments as well. All the counting, inspecting and signing is a huge undertaking as we are talking about over a thousand pieces. Our next order will be BIG something like 1800 pieces or something crazy like that. Umm if anyone wants to take some current figurines off of our hands that would be swell ;) I also have a few more of the retired ones kicking around.

Firstly I am happy to say I have finished Artemis, my OOAK unicorn sculpture. I wanted her to have black hair but they where all out! I didn’t find out until my order got here :( Oh well I like her with white hair too.

This is a large sculpture that is 7 in high at the tip of her horn. It was hand sculpted, hand painted and hand embellished with hair (its synthetic)

THIS IS NOT A TOY, and is a display piece ONLY. Keep out of reach of children and animals. She would be happiest guarding a shelf in your home.

My studio is 1/3 of the way clean. I kept having things interfere with my cleaning like my unicorn hair arriving, an interview request and figurine inspection. Over the next few days I will be adding more things to the site and working on my project. I haven’t even finished one drawing for any of them yet. Too much going on!

I have been painting and procrastinating painting for days now! Apparently I can't even manage to follow rules I set for myself! Hahaha I am a rebel. The good news is ALL of the roses (50 maybe) on Enchanted moon are painted. The bad news is everything else isn't!!! Where is the magical art fairy that just finishes things for you? I have had some other fun ideas for paintings while working on it. My muse can't obey what I want to do either!

In product news my 3 new candle types are shipping and I should have them by the end of the week. So my Whisper, Peppermint Wyrm and Jingle Belle candles will be here soon. I have been fiddling around with Painter X the past few days. I am starting to get the hang of it I think. I want to do a few more practice paintings before I start to tackle anything real. I have been going through some more changes with my art and where I want to go. I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin especially after my back to back successes at my past two shows. I don't seem to fit in anywhere. I am not a fairy artist, I am not a furry artist, I seem to be on the outside looking in on a lot of different groups and types of art. Sometimes I feel like a sad orphan in the snow! I think, thanks to some friends I am starting to be ok with standing out..

Who else is getting excited for Faeriecon??? Despite my lack of arting I have been making costumes and getting ready as best I can before the show. I have no idea how much stuff to take. My awesome Joe will be there with some of my prints and cards as well but I get antsy when quantities start dipping low at a show.
