I have some new paintings in the works, I have a huge digital project I am itching to get to work on but no Mac yet. Estimated date will be the 22 of this month.

I finished another one. I need my hubby to take better photos of it, he is much better at that then I am. As soon as I have master files It is off to heaven and earth designs as well as available for prints and merchandise. I will be updating my website as soon as I am finished this slew of art I am working on.

I have another painting in the works. I saw some BEAUTIFUL mugs with my artwork on it yesterday and I am very excited about that. I will give details on the mugs when I have it.

I have a LOT to do today so I am going to make this a short one

I have finished another Wyrm!! This is my caramel apple wyrm and it is 20x15 mixed media on illustration board. It is on some of last bit of my dwindling supply.




He is up for sale for 75.00. prints and all that good stuff out tomorrow.This piece is SO much prettier in person. I will be taking some very high rez photos for prints in a few. I have another painting I am working on ASAP.

Also today I have a sneak preview of my Igor's Lolly figurine. This is the clay sculpt they will use to cast the mold.

I have 5 more prototypes in the process. Please do not email me asking who in China makes these, I have been asked NOT to disclose that information. People on here have a tendency to flood companies with requests the second someone on here posts a new product. Sorry!

I have some secret stuff in the works and I am pretty excited about it! This morning,I went out in my yard for the first time and I marked off some areas for planting. My hubby is allergic to grass (but still insists on cutting it) so I have the go ahead to plant my butt off. I have never had a yard or garden before so this will be fun!

Anyway I am back to painting have a wonderful day everyone!

Today despite a little trip to the kitty vet (Rio is fine though he needs to be confined alone) I managed to get another painting done!! I felt awful leaving poor Rio alone in my studio and master bath so I stayed all day with him in my lap, chatted on the phone with my best pal and painted away. It was great and so was the end result!




I love doing this odd mixed media stuff. 14x19, mixed media on illustration board Chocolate Wyrm. This painting is an odd combo of watercolor,ink and oil paint. Who doesn't love a little chocolate? This little guy sure does. He makes it pretty hard to resist!! This is another one of my Sugar Wyrms. I am taking a wyrm break so I can do some book illustrations, there will be more some time.

Spearmint Wyrm

Finally!! I don't know why this one gave me so much trouble, maybe cause I needed it ASAP and I got it ALAP...damn you muse!! Stop hot tubbing and help me!! Original and prints are for sale.

My website it down, I think it is because my new webmistress is noodling around with the php and all. Thanks so much for all the emails, I know it is down. I should have a new website soon. I promise nothing until I know for sure when.

I have a new painting in the works. I have the background finished, I will start work on it today as soon as I get some business stuff done. This will be my last painting before I work on a book illustration or two. I think I am still on track with my painting schedule despite my delay with the cursed spearmint wyrm.

This weekend, weather permitting...I am painting doors!! WHeeeee...the life of a homeowner is so terribly glamorous I can hardly stand it. If you could see how crappy our house looked when we moved in you would understand. We still have SO much work and painting to do it isn't funny. Doors seem achievable in a weekend span. We have a million of them but if the weather is good we should be able to do at least the top floor.

This is my latest Sugar Wyrm!! I can just smell the conversation hearts!! I was going to put a phrase on the big heart but thought it best to leave it to every ones imagination. The original is available as well as prints. It is a mixed media on illustration board. Items will be available on Cafe Press tomorrow.

I am currently working on another sugar wyrm. He is about 1/3 of the way painted so I should have it by the end of the weekend at the latest (If I get some freaking sleep!!!) I want to do 4 Sugar Wyrms total before I move on to something else. I have a sculpture I made and baked a while back I still need to paint and release and now I am dealing with some legal issues with a company so that is taking up some of my time...sigh. There really are days I want to quit this mess and sell off everything. I think every artist secretly plans their exit strategy at some point in their career.

I have a new bit of art for you! It is a Sugar Wyrm: Chocolate Dipped Strawberry. I liked the idea of dragons who loved candy ( I love candy) This is another 2 am musing, thanks Muse!! It is an odd combo of watercolor, ink and oils (don't ask, I don't argue with my muse) I have prints available for 10.00 as well as the original for 65.00. It is that odd size again on illustration board. I will have him up on Cafe Press in the Valentines Day store soon.




I sketched out two more paintings yesterday so I am going to be getting to work on the backgrounds for those today as well. I also want to revamp my Second Life Store as it isn't nearly as good as the one I just did. I also have to start getting ready for INATS.
